Longtime Gillian Welch collaborator Dave Rawlings recently released his debut recording A Friend of a Friend. In February he will embark on a West Coast tour in support of the disc. Joining the guitar player in the Dave Rawlings Machine will be Welch along with Old Crow Medicine Show members Ketch Secor, Willie Watson and Morgan Jahnig.
