New England’s Hot Day at the Zoo will mark the release of its third album, Zoograss, with a two-night run at Boston’s Lizard Lounge. The shows will take place on January 15 and 16 and will also celebrate the band’s seventh anniversary. Zoograss was recorded live at The Waterhole in Saranac Lake, NY on February 14, 2009 and is scheduled for release on January 12, 2010 via the band’s independent label INTA Records. Hot Day at the Zoo’s remaining 2009 shows include an appearance at Dover, NH’s Barley Pub on December 26 and a return to The Waterhole on December 31.
