Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Lionel Richie, The Neville Brothers, Allman Brothers Band, Anita Baker, My Morning Jacket, Darius Rucker and Widespread Panic are among the hundreds of acts scheduled to appear at the 41st New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The veteran music event will take place the weekends of April 23-25 and April 29-May 2.

In addition, the festival will boast marquee sets from B.B. King, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, Jeff Beck, Irma Thomas, Galactic, Gipsy Kings, The Dead Weather, Elvis Costello & the Sugarcanes, The Black Crowes, Drake, Teena Marie, Keely Smith, Johnny Lang, Allen Toussaint, Band of Horses, Jose Feliciano, The Levon Helm Band and Baaba Maal. Other bands of interest include: George Clinton & Parliament / Funkadelic, Steve Martin with the Steep Canyon Rangers, Dr. John, Wayne Shorter Quartet, Gov’t Mule, Aaron Neville, Elvis Perkins in Dearland, Martin Sexton, Richie Havens, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Elvin Bishop, The Radiators, Kermit Ruffins & the Barbecue Swingers, Rebirth Brass Band, King Sunny Ade & His African Beats, funky Meters, Anders Osborne, Blues Traveler, Preservation Hall Jazz Band with special guests, Dala, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Sam Bush, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Old Crow Medicine Show, Walter “Wolfman” Washington and Sonny Landreth.

This is Pearl Jam’s first visit to Jazz Fest. Other acts making their New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival debuts include: My Morning Jacket, Anita Baker, Jeff Beck, Gipsy Kings, The Dead Weather, The Levon Helm Band, Drake and Johnny Lang. Jazz Fest is the also the first confirmed date for the new Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band.
