This past weekend the Disco Biscuits headlined two shows at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory. At the start of Friday’s second set the band brought out longtime Lil Wayne associate Curren$y to rap on a version of its new song “Uber Glue.” The Disco Biscuits have ventured closer to the hip-hop world on its forthcoming album Planet Anthem, which features several songs co-written by Dirty Harry. Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash, who recently worked with the Black Keys on the rap/rock album Blakroc, was also spotted at the Disco Biscuits’ shows this weekend.
