Surprise Me Mr. Davis has made an album of new material available for free online. The untitled collection of songs is streaming on the band’s new official homepage. In addition to band mainstays Nathan Moore and The Slip, the current incarnation of Mr. Davis includes keyboardist Marco Benevento. The five musicians will kick off a string of shows at Cambridge. MA’s Middle East Downstairs this evening. The shows will also feature the Canadian indie rock group Land of Talk. Slip drummer Andrew Barr plays in both groups.
