Wetlands Preserved: The Story of an Activist Rock Club returns to its rightful place as a midnight movie this coming Friday on Sundance Channel. This is one of four airings of the documentary film this month (with the complete air times below). Wetlands Preserved, directed by site editor Dean Budnick, incorporates archival footage, soundboard recordings and the efforts of a dozen digital animators to chronicle the story of New York City nightclub Wetlands Preserve from February 1989 through September 2001. The documentary features music from Phish, Blues Traveler, moe., The Disco Biscuits, Dave Matthews Band, Sublime, Ben Harper, Spearhead, 311, Ani DiFranco, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Spin Doctors, Fishbone, Agnostic Front and many additional artists.
