Soulive will release the new album Live in San Francisco on October 12. The live set was recorded over the course of two nights this spring at San Francisco’s Independent during the support tour for the horn-driven Up Here . The album’s tracks include new originals like “Up Right” and “Too Much,” as well as older favorites like “El Ron.”

Soulive will support the album with an October tour. The first four dates on the brief run will feature Hall and the group’s Shady Horns section, while the latter dates will boast the classic trio lineup. The band’s October 30 performance at Washington, DC’s The National Zoo is part of Magic Hat’s Night of the Living Zoo celebration and will feature extra entertainment.
