The Disco Biscuits will play Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl on Sunday, October 11. The intimate New York gig arrives at the end of an extended East Coast run of shows. The Biscuits regularly pack far larger rooms in the New York area and are slated to play 5 nights at New York’s Nokia Theater at the end the year. The group first made its name in New York City via numerous gigs at Brooklyn Bowl founder Pete Shapiro’s famed club Wetlands in the ‘90s and early ‘00s.

Those who purchase for this show, which will go on sale this Monday also will receive a free copy of the band’s new EP On Time. This recording will offer two unreleased songs from the band’s upcoming album, “On Time” and “Loose Change.” The group’s Marc Brownstein explains, “We have listened to the track ‘On Time’ about 4000 times in the last few months and it rules. This is the first single off the record. ‘Loose Change’ is pretty badass too and was produced by Simon Posford and Benji Vaughan . Also included on the physical copy of the EP will be the previously released ‘Konkrete,’ a mixed live version of “Mirrors,” a live edited video of ‘Mirrors’ from Red Rocks (which features all of the wild shenanigans from the show), an Eliot Lipp Remix of ‘On Time’ and an extended club remix of ‘On Time’ by Twisted Dee. Oh yeah, I forgot there is also an actual music video for the band’s ‘You and I’ track. It was shot in Japan when the band played at Fuji Rock. It is twisted.”

This evening the Disco Biscuits are in Washington, D.C for the first of two nights at the 9:30 Club.
