The Flaming Lips will appear on The Colbert Report tomorrow. The psychedelic rock band is in New York for an appearance at the second annual ATP NY (where the group previewed a few tracks from its forthcoming album Embryonic and covered “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” in a room designed to look like a spaceship). Flaming Lips front man Wayne Coyne will likely discuss his new album, his hippie politics and other topics on the Comedy Central program.
