Los Lonely Boys, who first appeared in Relix’s Spotlight section in 2003, will release a new EP of covers focusing on the sound of 1969. Fittingly titled 1969, the EP will feature versions of Carlos Santana’s “Evil Ways,” The Beatles’ “She Came In Through the Bathroom Window,” Blind Faith’s “Well All Right,” Tony Joe White’s “Polk Salad Anni” and The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues.” The group worked on the EP with engineer Andy Johns, who has worked with the likes of Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and Blind Faith.
