Bob Weir and RatDog performed at Salt Lake City, UT’s The Depot this past Saturday. Everyone Orchestra leader and Hot Buttered Rum drummer Matt Butler was in the area and stopped by the show. During a jam leading out of “The Other One,” Butler took the stage to play washboard during a bit of freeform improvisation that led into “Death Don’t Have No Mercy.” RatDog will appear at Denver’s Botanic Gardens this evening. The performance is scheduled to be broadcast on Sirius/XM’s Grateful Dead Channel at 10:00 PM EST.
