The Black Crowes’ summer tour with Levon Helm Band continued this past Saturday at Atlantic City, NY’s Borgata. As they have on several occasions throughout the tour, Chris and Rich Robinson emerged during Helm’s set for “The Weight.” With Helm unable to sing due to a recent string of health problems, Chris Robinson also took the stage with Helm’s band for a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Tennessee Jed.” Robinson sang the song live a handful of times as a member of Phil Lesh & Friends, while Helm recorded the track on his new solo album, Electric Dirt.
