Medeski Martin & Wood have provided a few more details regarding the 2008 plans that Billy Martin discussed in his recent site interview. The trio intends to embark on three tours and release three albums over the course of the year. MMW will create new material prior to its each of these tours and will then enter the studio after each run to record the music that has developed. First up will be a February 14-18 session that will give way to a tour that opens on February 19 at the University of Pennsylvania. The group will announce details in the near future on how fans will be able to purchase all three discs in a signed, limited edition, eco-friendly package.
