Former Big Wu guitarist (and come to think of it, former Jambands.com columnist) Jason Fladager has been focusing his musical efforts for some time now with God Johnson. The group, which released its sophomore recording, the two CD set, The Squirms, vol. 1 & 2 earlier this year, will spend Halloween at its home venue The Cabooze. The night will take on a Willie Wonka theme, as the Minneapolis club will host God Johnson and Fancy Bastard for Hallo-Wonka-Ween. Anyone who dresses as an Oompa Loompa will receive free entry, with the caveat that one needs to go all out to be comped and ‘can’t just paint your face green or show up in orange shoes.’
