Long before he scored big on American Idol, beatboxer Blake Lewis frequently played around the Northwest and on several even emceed Flowmotion’s three-day music festival, Summer Meltdown, which annually 3,000 people to the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Now back home after spending some time on the American Idol tour, Lewis took in Flowmotions 3-hour set at Mill Creek, WAs The Jet Bar and Grill Saturday and took the stage with the group for a boxified version of their ‘Better Luck Next Time.’ Before he left the stage Lewis yelled to the crowd, ‘It’s so good to be home!’ Flowmotion will perform at Ellensburg, WAs The Moose Lodge this Friday. The rising Seattle-based group has also confirmed that it will spend Halloween at Bellingham, WAs Wild Buffalo.
