Last night Rolla, the newest project from Deep Banana Blackout guitarist Fuzz, performed with New Groove of the Month Ryan Montbleau and his band at Saratoga Spring’s Parting Glass. As a treat, upstate New York-resident Vinnie Amico (moe.) joined Rolla on drums for its entire performance, while Montbleau’s bandmates, Laurence Scudder (viola) and Matt Giannaros (bass), joined the group on the Beatles’ ‘Rocky Raccoon.’ During Montbleau’s set, Fuzz also performed a cover of Stevie Wonder’s ‘Boogie On Reggae Woman.’ Tonight, an Amico-bolstered version of Rolla will perform at Utica, NY’s The Electric Company.
