The members of Dexter Grove will perform in a variety of side projects and solo gigs in between their spring and summer tour schedules. Charley Orlando will play a solo show along with Cris Noel in support of Peter Prince and the Trauma Unit on May 15 at Savannahs in Albany, NY. It will be his first solo gig since 1994. Meanwhile, percussionist Steve Drizos will take part in two drum clinics with moe.s Vinnie Amico, May 20 at American Musical Instruments in New York Mills, NY and May 21 at American Musical Instruments in Syracuse, NY.
Following an extensive summer tour, Dexter Grove will enter the studio in August to begin work on a new album. Orlando also has plans for a solo disc.
The band has recently redesigned its website, which includes old school video games as Pac Man, Space Invaders and Simon (be careful, theyre quite addictive if you havent played in a couple decades).
