Vocalist Andrew Gromiller will tour this fall with members of Deep Banana Blackout. The line-up includes Deep Bananas Fuzz (guitar), Benji LeFevre (bass), Eric Kalb (drums), Rob Somerville (tenor saxophone), Bryan Smith (trombone) as well as Tongue & Grooves Tom Stonaha (guitar). Gromiller was a founding member of Tongue & Groove, which included Kalb and original DBB singer Jen Durkin. The band parted ways in 1994 and Deep Banana Blackout formed the next year.
The group will play November 13 at Marios in Derby, CT, November 15 at George Washington University in Washington DC, Da Funky Phish in Bayshore, NY, Marios in Derby, CT, The Stone Church in Newmarket, NH and Sullys in Hartford, CT. On November 23, a Tongue & Groove Reunion will take place at Shenanigans in Norwalk, CT. This will be the bands first performance in seven years.
