Fareed Haque will join the second leg of Mike Clark’s current tour. The itinerary includes stops in California, Washington, Ohio, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Maryland. ‘I love playing with Reed Mathis, Brian Haas and Jessica Lurie,’ says Clark of his current line-up. ‘The music we are playing is totally conversational and affords me the freedom to interject and articulate or stretch out and hang. Every night we have an always fun but also profound and spiritual dialogue dancing to and with the notes and rhythms. Plus they introduced me to wheatgrass juice!’
Haque will join the group, in place of Lurie, beginning May 28 at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis, MN.
