New Orleans-based Superfly Productions has announced the schedule of its Spotlight Series. It begins tomorrow night with the debut of (sic), which features David Torkanowsky, George Porter Jr. and Johnny Vidacovich. The trio will perform at the Maple Leaf in New Orleans and will return to the venue next Thursday, August 23. Other upcoming Superfly shows include Dark Star Orchestra September 7 and 8 at Tipitinas, Project Logix October 2 at the Howlin Wolf amd Jazz Mandolin Project (featuring Jamie Masefield, Danton Boller and Jon Fishman) November 2 at Tipitinas.
