In preparation for their forthcoming album Kingdom In My Mind (out Jan. 24), The Wood Brothers have released a new single as well as a new batch of tour dates.

The organ-drenched track – titled “Cry Over Nothing” – finds Oliver Wood, Chris Wood and Jano Rix in a particularly soulful mood, singing “I got daydreams that last all night/ And I got romance unrequited/ And I just fall on my sword/ I don’t cry over nothing anymore.”

A press release describes Kingdom In My Mind as the band’s “most spontaneous and experimental work yet” and notes that the 11-track collection was “recorded over a series of freewheeling, improvised sessions” at their new Nashville studio space.
