Ryan Adams and Oasis’ Noel Gallagher will come together for two shows this summer, as the duo will bring their respective solo bands (The Shining and High Flying Birds) to Rochester Hills, MI’s Meadowbrook Amphitheater on July 12 and Pittsburgh, PA’s Stage AE on July 13.

Adams has constantly praised Oasis throughout his career, even recording a version of their tune “Wonderwall” for 2004 record Love is Hell. He has also performed the song numerous times including most recently in the iconic band’s backyard, Glastonbury. Adams also opened for Oasis on their 2008 tour with his then-band The Cardinals.

In a 2008 interview with SPIN, Gallagher said on Adams’ version of “Wonderwall,” “I think Ryan Adams is the only person who ever got that song right. I’d love to do the Ryan Adams version, but in front of 60,000 Oasis fans that wouldn’t be possible.”

Tickets go on sale March 25 via Ticketmaster.
